Best Time to Visit
July–August for guaranteed sunshine and warm sea. May–June and September for quieter crowds and lower prices. Some campsites open year-round for motorhomes.
Getting There
Fly into Tivat Airport (TIV) — just 3 km from Tivat town. Podgorica Airport (TGD) is 90 min by car. Dubrovnik (DBV) is 2 hours and gives access to Croatia too.
Currency & Costs
Montenegro uses the Euro (€) despite not being in the EU. Camping costs from €6–€40/night depending on season and facilities. Cash is widely accepted; most campsites don't take cards.
